‘Funfair’ to be screened online

Iranian short film ‘Funfair’ has been slated to be screened online.

The film, directed by Kaveh Mazaheri, will be screened online due to quarantine over coronavirus outbreak.

‘Funfair’ will be available online for one month.

The film narrates the story of a young married couple and their 5-year-old kid. The three of them are grabbling with financial issues that the father of the family has brought upon them.

A brief synopsis for ‘Funfair’ reads, “Majid, a financially struggling man, comes up with a ploy in order to better the life of his wife, Sara”.

The short has attended a number of global events and claimed several awards, including a special mention at the Winchester Film Festival in the UK, the Best Screenplay Award at the Scene film festival in France and the Best International Short Film at the Foyle Film Festival in the UK.
